The arnines run every Sunday of the year during the holidays of Christmas and New Year's from 10:01 am to 4:44 pm on the M line from 2nd Avenue to Queens Plaza via local on 6th Avenue.

R-42s at East NY Transit Tech High School
The R-42s are built by St. Louis Car Company. These subway cars arrived to Transit Tech back in 2009 when R-30 8337 was taken out. R-42s 4736 and 4737 are used to help students get a good career with MTA NYCT in the future
